Club & Course Information

Welcome to Blacksburg Country Club. Below are some guidelines to ensure that your are comfortable at BCC once your arrive.

• Dress Code:
  Proper attire shall be worn at all times in the Clubhouse, on the golf course, and at the practice range. Shoes and shirts (with collars for men) must be worn at all times, other than in the pool area. While jeans are allowed in the Clubhouse year-round, they are only allowed on the golf course between November 1 and March 31.
   
• Golf Attire for Men:                                                                                                                                                        Collared shirts and slacks or shorts are required.                                                                                                          Shirts must be tucked in at all times.                                                                                                                             Long-sleeved turtlenecks and long-sleeved mock turtlenecks are permitted.                                                              Slacks and shorts must be tailored for golf.                                                                                                                    Shorts must be of Bermuda length.                                                                                                                                Sneaker style golf shoes of a conservative style are acceptable.                                                                                    Soft spikes are required. No "high-top" sneakers are permitted.                                                                                Not permitted: Denim shorts, swim trunks or cargo pants.                                                                                          Not permitted: Work out clothing.                                                                                                                                Hats are only to be worn with the brim facing forward.                                                                                                Not permitted: Rips of any kind in any article of clothing.                                                                                         
• Golf Attire for Women:                                                                                                                                                 Slacks or Cropped pants.                                                                                                                                                Shorts, skorts or skirts no shorter than 4 inches above the knee are permitted.                                                           Shorts must have a 7" or greater inseam.                                                                                                                      White jeans will be allowed.                                                                                                                                            All clothing must be conservative, golf specific and in good taste.                                                                                Not permitted: halter tops, tube tops, open midriffs or bare and/or exposed backs.                                                                      
• Golf Attire for Juniors:                                                                                                                                                      Junior golfers 13 and over must follow adult rules. 
• Cell Phone Policy:                                                                                                                                                       Members and their guests may carry their cell phones with them, we ask that you place your phone on silent or vibrate only     mode while on the course and/or practice range.
