Membership Categories

Full Membership

The Full Membership allows members and their immediate family to enjoy unlimited use of Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. A family is defined as an eligible individual, his or her spouse, and dependent children 21 years and younger living at home or 25 years and younger attending school. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months.

Single Membership

The Single Membership allows members to enjoy unlimited use of all Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. The Single Membership is for those current and prospective members who are legally defined as single. This membership is only for the individual and dependents of those whose name appears on the application. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the single member are approximately 20% lower than that of full member.

Junior Membership

The Junior Membership allows members who fulfill the Junior Membership requirements and their immediate family to enjoy unlimited use of all Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. All individuals or family members (not including dependent children) must be between the ages of 21 and 31. A junior member's age or dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the junior member are approximately 40% lower than that of full member.

Advanced Junior Membership

The Advanced Junior Membership allows members who fulfill the Advanced Junior Membership requirements and their immediate family to enjoy unlimited use of all Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. All individuals or family members (not including dependent children) must be between the ages of 32 and 36. A junior member's age or dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the advanced junior member "step" from junior to full over a five year period. 

Senior Membership

The Senior Membership allows members who fulfill the Senior Membership requirements and their spouse to enjoy unlimited use of all Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. This category is restricted by age and the member must be age 70 or older. Those that choose the senior category are restricted to only being able to play golf Monday-Friday. However, all other club amenities (dining/pool/tennis) may be used at any time. Dues for the senior membership are approximately 25% lower than that of full member.

Recreational Membership

The Recreational Membership allows members and their immediate family to enjoy all Club facilities within the rules established by the Club with the exception of the golf course. However, recreational members are allowed to utilize the golf course once per month and pay a reduced green fee. A family is defined as an eligible individual, his or her spouse, and dependent children 21 years and younger living at home or 25 years and younger attending school. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the recreational member and family are approximately 51% lower than that of a full member.

Associate Membership

The Associate Membership requires that a member reside between 36 and 75 mile radius of Blacksburg Country Club. The Associate Membership allows members and their immediate family to enjoy unlimited use of Club facilities within the rules established by the Club. A family is defined as an eligible individual, his or her spouse, and dependent children 21 years and younger living at home or 25 years and younger attending school. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the associate member are approximately 57% lower than that of full member.

Non-Resident Membership

The Non-Resident Membership requires that a member reside outside of a 75 miles radius of Blacksburg Country Club. The Non-Resident Membership allows members and their immediate family to enjoy unlimited use of Club facilities within the rules established by the club. A family is defined as an eligible individual, his or her spouse, and dependent children 21 years and younger living at home or 25 years and younger attending school. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the non-resident member are approximately 62% lower than that of full member. In addition, the non-resident member is not charged a monthly capital fee.

Social Membership

The Social Membership allows members and their immediate family to enjoy the Clubhouse facilities ONLY for the purpose of dining and socializing. A family is defined as an eligible individual, his or her spouse, and dependent children 21 years and younger living at home or 25 years and younger attending school. A dependent's age on the first day of April shall be used for determining eligibility for the next twelve months. Dues for the social member are approximately 85% lower than that of full member.

Corporate Membership

A corporation may designate no less than three (3) and no more than eight (8) individuals to be listed under the corporate membership umbrella and pay just one initiation fee. The corporation shall pay the membership fee for each designee per year. The designees may be changed by the corporation or business from time to time without penalty or payment of additional initiation fees.
