About Blacksburg Country Club

Our athletic facilities include an 18-hole golf course with the number one rated hole in southwest Virginia, golf practice range, junior-Olympic, heated swimming pool, baby pool with separate filtration system, plus five outdoor tennis courts. Dinning facilities include both formal and informal dining rooms, an outdoor deck, and a banquet/special events building. The Club also has a poolside clubhouse and snack bar.

Much of BCC's reputation is carried by our annual social events. Children look forward to seasonal visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny and the annual Father-Daughter Dinner Dance. All members anticipate the annual Vegas night, Lobsterfest, and our wine tastings. Many activities are targeted for couples and young families. A calendar of social activities is published monthly.

The Club has the luxury of two equal and challenging nine hole layouts with a course rating of 71.8 and a slope of 130 from the championship tees. It is a member-friendly golf course with forgiving fairways and greens. There are four different sets of tees to match any skill level. The North Fork of the Roanoke River meanders through the course, coming into play on several holes. The course also features more than 60 sand bunkers and several water holes to challenge you. At BCC, there are never tee times during the weekdays - just come out and play golf at your convenience.

The swim season at Blacksburg Country Club begins on Memorial Day with 80 degree heated water and the fun does not end until mid-September. The facility is open until as late as 10:00 P.M. two nights each week. The swimming pool is under continuous supervision of our aquatics and lifeguard staff.
